On this past Sunday Ted Demme was playing in a celebrity basketball game when he suddenly collapsed and died from a cardiac arrest. He was only 38 years old. Demme was Yo MTV Rap’s original producer and a Hollywood director.
Demme directed movies such as “Who’s The Man,” “Life,” which starred Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence and most recently the critically acclaimed “Blow.” Before he passed he was working with Noreaga on a movie called “Whut, Whut – The Movie.” No, that last part wasn’t a joke, that is what the movie was called. The film was not completed and there is no word as of yet whether it will be. If it isn’t then the burning question will remain; could the movie be worse than it’s title?
