New York, NY

New York Fashion Week is in full swing in the Big Apple, and Kid Cudi threw what’s already being called “the party of the week” on Saturday night (September 11).

Fresh off his appearances on Kanye West’s Donda and Drake’s Certified Lover Boy, the Cleveland rapper/actor teamed up with Richie Akiva, who Forbes dubbed “The King of New York Nightlife,” to host “a new late night experience” called Entergalactic.

The NYFW shindig was a star-studded affair as Kid Cudi partied with fellow artists including Travis Scott, A$AP Rocky, Chance The Rapper, French Montana, Joey Bada$$, Kehlani, Vic Mensa, A$AP Nast, and South Korea’s CL.

Also in attendance were Cudi’s actor friends Timothée Chalamet and Alex Wolff, as well as jeweler-to-the-stars Ben Baller, Kanye West’s barber Ibn Jasper and entertainer/DJ Kerwin Frost.

Mr. Rager certainly appeared to be the life of the party as he was seen handling hosting duties on the mic, knocking back shots, jumping in the middle of the road for a photo op and dancing on a table to Baby Keem’s newly-minted Billboard Hot 100 hit “Family Ties.”

In fact, the party was so lit it has its own Instagram account containing flicks taken by veteran photographer Mel D. Cole. It’s now the only account Cudi follows on Instagram.

Kid Cudi also showed off his new electric blue hairdo, which he unveiled at a NYFW event earlier on Saturday while wearing a black skirt. It isn’t the first time Cudi has broken gender fashion norms, of course; he courageously rocked a floral dress during his Saturday Night Live performance back in April.
