HipHopDX – As summer continues to heat up, July is proving to be a challenging month to keep track of the hottest releases each week between our New Music Friday Albums and Singles coverage.

No matter the case, HipHopDX has managed to keep pace and has returned yet again with a scorching list of singles featuring multiple high-powered collaborations such as Trippie Redd’s connection with Lil Uzi Vert and Cardi B’s one-of-a-kind duet with Normani.

There are also several marquis solo releases highlighting the list including new offerings from Russ, Logic, Bia and Nicki Minaj and more.

Peep the full lineup of singles releasing Friday (July 16) below.

Trippie Redd f. Lil Uzi Vert – “Holy Smokes”

As Trippie Redd prepares to embark on his upcoming Trip At Knight tour with Iann Dior and SoFaygo, he continues to apply pressure on the singles front following his recent Playboi Carti-assisted viral “Miss The Rage” smash hit. With the help of Lil Uzi Vert, Trippie Redd seeks to crack the algorithm once again with their hazy “Holy Smokes” banger.

Normani f. Cardi B – “Wild Side”

Last year, Normani joined forces with “WAP” rapper Megan Thee Stallion for their single “Diamonds” a part of the Birds Of Prey soundtrack. To the delight of Cardi B, who gushed about Normani on her personal social media account, the pair have their own collaboration for ladies to glow up to via the sultry “Wild Side” offering.

BIA f. Nicki Minaj – “Whole Lotta Money (Remix)”

With Nicki Minaj’s internet-breaking Instagram Live still fresh in the minds, and timelines of Barbz across the world, the Queen rapper has leaned into her newly foraged connection with Drake’s crush BIA. Fans get the first official collaboration from the dynamic duo in the form of the”Whole Lotta Money (Remix)” — which originally appeared on BIA’s 2020 For Certain album.

Kalan.Frfr f. Lil Durk – “I Like (Remix)”

RocNation artist Kalan.FrFr started off 2021 by updating his acclaimed mixtape series with his fan-favorite TwoFr 2 project —which included features from Stunna4Vegas and Mozzy. With the deluxe version of the album dropping tonight, Kalan’s connection with Lil Durk on the project standout “I Like (Remix)” was a perfect fit for the list.

Toosii – “Head Over Hills”

It has been a busy year thus far for DX 2021 Rising Star Toosi, who delivered his Thank You For Believing album in May and immediately followed with his moody “Heart Cold” single last month. Seemingly enamored with his new boo, Toosi falls “Head Over Hills” on his latest rap-sung ballad.

Russ – “Cheers”

Russ has been on an unrelenting roll all year long and his fans are getting a neverending stream of singles as a result. Following his collaborations with 2021 Rising Star Blxst and Jackboy, in addition to multiple solo releases, Russ toasts to his 2021 success on his “Cheers” track.

Logic – “My Way”

Logic has also implemented a rapid-fire back-to-back strategy for his recent releases also, after initially starting out the year in retirement. After making his clear-cut return to rap on his “Intro” single and follow-up releases “Vaccine” and “Get Up” Bobby Tarantino makes his presence known yet again on his stern “My Way” song.

Funk Flex f. King Von, Polo G – “Lurkin (Remix)”

Last year, Funk Flex teased his upcoming album with the visual single “Lurkin” featuring deceased rapper King Von — whom Flex started a college fund for to be donated to his children following the Welcome To O’Block rapper’s shooting death. Reaching back into the vault in an effort to keep Von’s memory alive, Funk Flex shares the “Lurkin (Remix)” with an additional verse from Polo G.

NHale f. Doggystyleeee – “Chose A G”

For many still catching on the wave of NHale, son of West Coast music legend Nate Dogg, the uncanny sonic similarities his music bares in comparison to his father are truly staggering and worth dissecting. NHale’s new “Chose A G” single featuring Snoop Dogg’s Def Jam signee Doggystyleeee is equally enriching further paves the way for his upcoming Like Father Like Son project.
