Lauryn Hill’s new musical direction might be her demise as far as Sony is concerned. They seem to be asking the Question, “Is the urban audience ready for an acoustic album?”
Lauryn thinks they are but Sony is having trouble with the idea of releasing a single from this album. For the same reason Lauryn Hill didn’t kick off the Unplugged series like previously planned. Sony halted theat taping session and decided it would be best to continue recording after the album dropped.
Come on Sony! All we want is some L-Boogie!
