The age of social media is a blessing and curse for rappers these days. It can be a beneficial tool for an up-and-coming rapper, but it can also land them in a bit of drama.
Pooh Shiesty recently found himself on the drama side, after allegedly leaving a comment on TheShadeRoom’s Instagram post referring to Youngboy Never Broke Again’s baby momma, Jania Meshell, claiming the single life.
According to Pooh Shiesty’s alleged comment, Meshell is fronting about staying single because she’s in the “Back In Blood” rapper’s DMs. Meshell saw his comment and proceeded to show the DM Shiesty was referring to, which happened eight months ago.

On Monday (May 10), Pooh Shiesty took to his Instagram Live to address the issue with Meshell and his involvement in texting her.

“Y’all playing with a n-gga name too fucking much,” Shiesty said on Instagram Live. “I get off the internet one, two days, and y’all doing all this? Y’all done made all this commotion about a fake comment? I ain’t said shit about that girl.”

Shiesty continued to say he despises outlets like TheShadeRoom and SayCheeseTV for amplifying all the drama and controversy surrounding rappers.

“ShadeRoom you know I hate y’all and SayCheese been knew I hate you,” he continued. “Why is y’all playing on a n-gga time for like this? There’s so much shit going on, and nobody told me nothing. That shit is crazy.”
The comment left under TheShadeRoom’s post wasn’t Shiesty because according to him, he doesn’t even talk or text in that manner. The Memphis native also mentioned he wouldn’t clear the air because he didn’t do anything, and his fans should know he wouldn’t say any of that “lame shit.”
“Y’all know Shiesty don’t even talk that much,” he said. “Them too many words.”

All this started after Meshell announced her split from boxer Devin Haney in an Instagram Story. She declared she was “Single 4Life” and promised it was going to stay that way. TheShadeRoom shared the story, and if Shiesty is telling the truth, someone may have hacked his profile and left the comment to stir some trouble.

The issue with Meshell isn’t the only problem Shiesty had to deal with after his brief absence from social media this past weekend. On Monday (May 10), fans were raving about Shiesty allegedly sleeping with a transsexual woman in Atlanta after images and video of the alleged tryst leaked online. It eventually turned out to be a hoax, but not before Shiesty heard what was going on and defended himself.
