Cardi B stepped away from Twitter for a few hours and came back to a rumor she had to address on Thursday night (March 25). A fan account ran with the idea Cardi was rejected by Eminem when she requested a feature for her upcoming album, which she says isn’t the case.

“BIG LIES,” she wrote. “I get off the internet and ya makin shit up. I haven’t sent no songs to no artist yet. Love his work and much respect. This don’t even make sense.”

The tweet claimed Eminem’s reasoning behind not doing the feature was because “she doesn’t care about the culture or her craft.” Fans were happy Cardi B cleared the rumor up and put it to bed because it caused some friction between both rabid fanbases in the interim.

The Bronx native continued to tease the special guests she hopes to land on her Invasion of Privacy follow-up, but she hasn’t even sent specific songs to artists just yet.

“Since they like to make up LIES about me cause their so obsessed just know this y’all laughing about this fake rumor but wait until y’all see these next collabs,” Cardi B wrote. “Facts…I left for one day and they was like deum I miss the bitch let me make this lie up so I can have a reason to talk about her.”

With Cardi B’s sophomore album expected for later this year, she’ll have plenty of momentum when it drops thanks to “Up,” which just hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. “Up” marks Cardi’s fifth time reaching the Hot 100 summit, the most of any woman rapper ever.
