It looks like Big Sean’s wishes are coming true. Last April, the seasoned rapper told his label Def Jam Recordings to “quit playin'” and release his 2012 mixtape Detroit on all streaming services, just as Detroit 2 was was about to drop.

On Saturday (March 13), Sean Don let off a tweet confirming the project was finally coming to all DSPs in April, remixed and remastered.

“Next month the Detroit mixtape will be on all streaming services, re-mixed and mastered properly, finally!” he wrote. “Happy 313 day tho.”

Detroit served as Sean’s fourth mixtape and featured Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, Juicy J, French Montana, Royce Da 5’9 and more. As suggested by the title, the project paid tribute to his beloved Michigan hometown with testimonies from Common, Jeezy and Snopp Dogg on why they appreciate Motor City.

Detroit 2 hit the chart at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with roughly 103,000 total album-equivalent units in its first week, 30,000 of those being pure album sales. It marked Sean’s third No. 1 debut and his seventh Top 10 album. His latest video from his fifth studio effort, “Deep Reverence” featuring Nip, arrived earlier this month.
