Lil Yachty Claims Migos’ ‘Culture III’ Nearly Brought Him To Tears

Fans of Migos have been waiting patiently for the third installment of their acclaimed Culture series to hit streaming platforms. It’s been three years since the Atlanta trio dropped Culture II, and Quavo got the hype train moving when he gave various updates on the forthcoming album.

On Friday (February 26), Lil Yachty had some news of his own on the highly-anticipated Culture III. Yachty has a very good relationship with the Grammy-nominated rap group so it’s no issue for him to get his hands on the project. When Quavo sent him a few tracks, Lil Yachty made a pretty bold claim.

“Quavo is playing me new migos music and I could cry tears I’m so excited for there next album,” Lil Boat tweeted at 1:31 am in the morning Friday.

If Culture III allegedly brought Lil Yachty close to tears then fans may have a reason to believe the trio still has the juice. Migos have been fielding claims they fell off since previewing “Birkin” to a lukewarm response at the 2020 iHeartRadio Music Festival.

Migos revealed in a teaser last January they were locked in a studio called The Compound. They also explained the whole recording process was inspired by their growth since Culture II.

Offset Says Migos Were 'Absent For A Reason' As Atlanta Trio Readies 'Culture III' Comeback

“We’re just young men trying to grow,” Quavo said in the trailer.

Offset chimed in to say, “How we were putting so much music out, you could flood the market. With everything going on, I’ve never been so political in my life. I got out my first time to vote this year. And all that happens from just seeing everything happening in the world.”

    1. Their whole sound is the equivalent of someone who’s just eaten the 2 Taco Bell chicken quesadillas and just farted in airtight room and just left it for you to walk into.

    2. This music is what they play to death row inmates right before their execution because it makes them more at ease with accepting death to release them from the suffering.

    3. Culture? What’s with rappers calling their trashy violent low life ghetto music culture? Poor black youths and their rolemodels

    4. Okay it was cool like 6 years ago when you felt bad for the special needs kid in your class always getting picked on so you just let him do his thing and pretend to be entertained by it…ok now jokes over. It’s time to snap back to reality again. But since people got so use to hearing bullshit so much that that’s all their brains want to hear and it’s all it can understand or process. It’s creatively killed the culture ironically.
