Less than two weeks ago, on November 23, Shamel McKinney, an affiliate of Fabolous and the Street Family Crew was stabbed to death inside New York City club Duvet [click here]. Earlier this week, police in Atlanta arrested 26-year-old Anthony Taylor for his involvement with the stabbing.

Currently, police are supporting the motive that the late McKinney, a reported thief, attempted jewelry robbery of Taylor which led to the fatal-assault. McKinney is believed to have been stabbed with a seven-inch switchblade later discovered inside one of Duvet‘s dumpsters.

In several statements, Fabolous has disassociated himself with the incident and McKinney, claiming that his entourage and affiliates are not partaking in illegal activities. Reports have stated that McKinney was indeed pursuing a rap career at the time of his death.
