J-Ro of Tha Liks is looking to release a project devoted to the late Roger Troutman. The task, which has been given the working title of “A Tribute To Roger”, is at this time in the works and will feature appearances from the likes of Snoop Dogg, Xzibit, Tha Liks, Kurupt, DPG, Chico DeBarge and introduces Wolfpac Records (J-Ro’s label) artists, Shae Fiol and Merciless Styles.
Roger Troutman, 47, was a P-Funk musician of the duo Roger & Zapp. Roger was shot to death, by his brother at 7 a.m. outside his northwest Dayton recording studio.
Look out for the LP to drop sometime next year.
