Afu-Ra has been busy preparing the video for his next single, “Big Acts Little Acts,” off his DJ Premier-produced, debut album, Body of the Life Force “Gza directed the video, which was shot at a studio in Queens, NY.
In the ending sequences, Afu, trained by Gza, goes up to defend his title against three opponents, which includes a sumo wrestler. “With his ‘Mental Stamina’ Afu manages to kick all their asses and win the large purse,” says a spokesperson for Afu.
Afu’s long-awaited LP features guest appearances by M.O.P., Cocoa Brovas and Masta Killa, among others. On January 20, “The Body of the Life Force” will be heating up the stage for seminal rap duo, Gang Starr.
