Since the coronavirus pandemic started sweeping the globe in March, artists have been getting increasingly more creative about how to stay plugged in to their fanbase and continue producing compelling content.
One of the most successful examples of this is Swizz Beatz and Timbaland’s popular Verzuz series, which until Monday (July 20) has been hosted on Instagram. Now, the two Hip Hop heavyweights have teamed up with Apple Music to make the experience even better.
According to a press release, episodes will be simulcast live on Apple Music and Beats 1 simultaneously as the Verzuz Instagram Live channel. They will also be exclusively available via Apple Music on-demand following the live stream. Apple Music plans to work alongside Swizz and Timbo to produce new episodes of Verzuz to “continue giving fans a truly premium, high quality shared experience.”
