Akademiks Honors Meek Mill’s Demand To Stop Instagram Posts

Meek Mill’s wish has been granted by Akademiks. After the Atlantic Records MC told Akademiks to stop posting him on the Instagram personality’s popular account, the co-host of Complex’s Everyday Struggle announced he would oblige.

“So.. y’all remember when meek told me to stop posting him and I did.. then he went on philly radio complaining that I ain’t posting his album… well today he asked that I stopped posting him,” Akademiks wrote. “And I’ll gladly oblige … I don’t need no artist who don’t wanna be on platform. there will no more meek mill posts after this on my platform. Too many other lit rappers for me to cover.”

Akademiks has 3.1 million Instagram followers. Artists frequently posted on his account include YoungBoy Never Broke Again, Blueface, Bhad Bhabie and YK Osiris.

Meek has been embroiled in a continuous beef with Tekashi 6ix9ine, who’s been one of Akademiks’ favorite subjects and alleged friend over the past few years. Ak and 6ix9ine even recorded a song together, releasing “LANES” in 2019.

On Tuesday (June 23), Akademiks linked up with 6ix9ine for a sitdown interview. In his post’s caption, he claimed Billboard turned down the opportunity to speak with the controversial rapper.

“Since billboard passed on it,” Ak wrote. “We decided to interview the artist with the #1 song in the country. Btw we are down to do this with any artist. Just lmk we’ll give y’all the #1 song or album interview.”

Tekashi 6ix9ine Blasts Future, Snoop Dogg & Meek Mill For 'Snitch' Hypocrisy

6ix9ine’s Nicki Minaj-assisted single “TROLLZ” debuted at No. 1 on the Hot 100. The polarizing artist has also spent weeks antagonizing Meek, who previously vowed to crush 6ix9ine for the culture.

So far, the feud has played out entirely on social media.

    1. Enough with this clown shit already… that shit is not hip hop… only white kids with no connection to the culture and Barbz listened to that bullshit

      1. Nope. It’s a generational thing. The younger kids are all listening to this trash, regardless of they race, I see it everyday. The way these youngins see it is that snitching ain’t a big deal like it is to the “old heads”. How many people you know were riding this dudes dick before the snitching? when it was public knowledge that he was a convicted pedophile?? Now it’s not hiphop because he snitched lmao.

      3. Sure it is yeah, oh those damned white kids did it again lol. It’s not like the black community put this guy on or anything right? Or other black rappers co-signing him, even 50 cent did smh. It was the black community who made this child molester famous.
