YG has reportedly been arrested at his San Fernando Valley home.

According to TMZ, the Compton-bred rapper was awoken around 4 a.m. local time by L.A. County Sheriff’s deputies who had a search warrant related to a robbery case. He was transported to Men’s Central Jail in L.A. where he was booked on robbery charges.

This is the second time in six months a police raid has been conducted at YG’s home. In July 2019, authorities came to YG’s house in an effort to question him about an SUV registered in his name used in a police chase and deadly shootout.

However, YG wasn’t home at the time and later claimed he had nothing to do with it.

“I was nowhere near the scene of this incident, I was in Hollywood recording in the studio all day,” YG wrote on Twitter. “I was there until after midnight on the 4th of July and didn’t learn of these events until after they happened!”

XXL reports YG’s court date has been set for January 28, with bail set at $250,000.
