Diddy held an extravagant event for his 50th birthday in Los Angeles over the weekend. The expansive guest list included several high profile celebrities, including Beyoncé, JAY-Z, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian.
That would normally be par for the course, but Hov and Ye have been locked in a cold war for years. Photos of the two Hip Hop giants have become meme gold in the wake of the event and 50 Cent, always the faithful troll, couldn’t help but get in on the action.
On Monday (December 16), the Power executive shared a photo of Hov, Kanye, Pharrell and Diddy from the party. The Roc Nation mastermind appears irritated, which Fiddy took joy in pointing out.
“THIS IS EXACTLY WHY I ASK, WHO ALL GONNA BE OVER THERE??” the post reads. In the caption, 50 wrote, “man this is funny shit.” [apple_news_ad type=”any”]

Despite 50’s jab, it appeared Hov and Ye actually reconciled during the evening’s festivities. Video clips of the Watch The Throne collaborators show them talking in close proximity, laughing and shaking hands.
The fallout began in 2016 after Kanye mentioned Jay’s wife Beyoncé and 5-year-old daughter Blue Ivy during his now infamous onstage rant. In a 2017 interview with The Rap Radar podcast, he explained that’s where Ye “crossed the line.”
“Think about how I got to that point,” Hov explained. “It’s not even about Kanye. It really isn’t. His name is there, but it’s just the truth of what happened, but I’m sayin’ the whole point is you got hurt because this guy was talking about you on a stage, but what really hurt me is you can’t bring my kids and my wife into it.”
