Kurupt Reportedly Hospitalized Following Alcohol Relapse

Kurupt was reportedly hospitalized following an alcohol relapse on the set of We TV’s Marriage Boot Camp. According to TMZ, Kurupt missed two days of filming after drinking so much alcohol he felt he had to seek medical treatment.

The West Coast rap vet and the rest of the cast were all drinking on the set of Marriage Boot Camp despite his past struggles with liquor. Before entering the Marriage Bootcamp house, he was reportedly trying to stay sober. However, the house provides a bevy of liquor choices and it was all around him.

Sources claim alcohol will no longer be available on set for the rest of the season. We TV is also considering banning drinks from upcoming seasons.

Filming has been underway for weeks. Kurupt will appear on the show with his estranged wife Jovan “Tookie” Brown.

Last year, Brown said Kurupt abandoned her following a cancer diagnosis, prompting Brown to seek $14,000 a month in spousal support.

“Our separation definitely hurt, as I could not understand how after 17 years he left me in my time of need when I needed his support and love the most,” she reportedly stated at the time.

“Before [Kurupt] left our relationship, I was diagnosed with terminal cancer. Although I earned a salary prior to separation and [he] knew I needed the money, when I asked [Kurupt] to assist me with my treatment, he responded ‘go get a regular job’ and I should ‘get a boyfriend to help me pay for my treatments.’”

Kurupt denied the allegations and explained Brown received the diagnosis after they were separated in 2010. They will be forced to face their issues on the show.

    1. Feel better man. You’re a legend. For the young heads who dont know who this is, hes as good as battle rappers get. Hes one of the few that eminem put in his best mcs list before himself. For an idea of just how insanely talented he is, check out what would you do or so much style by the dogg pound.

    2. Alcohol is serious. I’ve exclaimed my issues here before. It can happen to the best of people. Leave that shit alone if you’re an addictive-type person.

    3. Alcohol beleive it or not, can be one of the most dangerous addictive drugs out there. Alcohol withdrawl can literally kill you if u don’t gradually decrease your consumption. You Cann just STOP. To alcohol or other addicts, try Kratom. That plant has helped a ton of people get off drugs, and is a decent recreational buzz! Check it out at Upstatekratom.com

        1. Kind of… But substituting a deadly addiction for one that takes decades to kill you is still far better. Put it this way… What addiction will ruin someone’s lovely hood? Drinking alcohol daily, or smoking tobacco daily? Both are not good, but I’d much rather see a loved one trade off true alcoholism for tobacco ANY DAY. Everyone has addictions, but not all addictions are drugs. They can be food working out, ect… Working out to much is extremely bad for your heart. So, moderation in life is key, but let’s understand that trading one deadly addiction for an unhealthy addiction, but not deadly, is much better.

    4. Who’s joking? Rakim never joked, so why should I loc?

    5. I’m confused. Is Gail Gotti, Tookie Brown? I’m not aware of her trying to work things out with Kurupt. They both have new partners.

    6. Jesus. You guys were more upset that Tekashi ratted on fucking criminals than Kurupt leaving his wife after she got a cancer diagnosis. Youre losers just like he is.

    7. Kurupt maybe struggling with everyday life but he’s one of the finest hard hit rhymer’s of time!!

    8. Smh about the alcohol advertising on this article lol, bad timing. Anyways, hope he can stay clean from this poison from now on. Addiction is what took out Nate Dogg and others. The music industry in itself is a pitfall for addiction, tv shows are very similar as well. KXNG Crooked, Royce, Em are sober, hopefully he can do it too, one day at a time.
