Demme Ulloa, the woman who sang the H to the Izzo hook on Jay-Z’s recent smash hit, is suing Jigga, claiming that she was not paid.
Ulloa filed a lawsuit claiming that she recorded the hook without signing a contract. She is attempting to have both The Blueprint album and the Izzo (H.O.V.A) single pulled from the shelves if the copyright infringement issue is not resolved.
The Roc-a-Fella camp isn’t likely to let that happen though, as both the album and the single are burning up the charts. By the way, for those who don’t know- the album got five mics in The Source.
