Born Medellínn and hailing from Orlando, David Wolves is looking to nestle his way into the game with his upcoming album Viole(n)t.
“One of the first ways I learned English was in my dad’s white truck, singing along to the radio,” David says about his family’s migration to the States when he was just seven. “It’s crazy because I remember listening to Kanye West’s ‘Through The Wire.’ I didn’t understand the lyrics, but I sang them. That was when it all began for me.”
As fate would have it, his talents would strike the ear of go-to GOOD Music engineer Anthony Kilhoffer, who would go on to mix the album’s first single, “Touring Test.”
“My main goal is show people that they don’t have to be one thing,” he tells HipHopDX. “You can have all sides, the horrible and the great. I want my music to show what being a real human being means to me.”
