Are you a label exec looking for some top quality hardcore hip-hop talent? If you are, word is The Beatminerz are looking for a new home.

One of the main Beatminerz, DJ Evil Dee, says that Rawkus Records did not properly promote or support his group’s debut LP Brace 4 Impak, and says they are responsible for the album’s poor sales. Released this summer, it was the first “solo” album for the production team who are most famous for producing Duckdown records by Black Moon, Smif N Wessun, OGC, and Heltah Skeltah. The crew is also a major presence on the live DJ and radio circuit.

Evil Dee mixed Rawkus’s first Soundbombing compilation, but claims that the label showed no support for Brace 4 Impak and that he had to promote it with his own money. Whoever picks these boys up will be getting a deal, and it’s Rawkus’s loss.
