The always vocal Clifford Harris — better know as T.I. — is standing up for the late King Of Pop. In a recent Instagram post, the Hustle Gang boss made his case for Michael Jackson in the wake of the controversial HBO documentary, Leaving Neverland.
On Wednesday (March 6), T.I. shared a clip from an old interview Piers Morgan did with the pop legend.
Jackson said, “I would slit my wrists before I would [abuse a child]. I could never — ever.”
T.I. suggested the lives of white celebrities with a questionable past should also be dissected.

“Pierce Morgan a real one for this,” he wrote in the caption. “Let this man speak for himself to defend his legacy. Don’t just listen to one side and expect to find truth. Oh that’s right…Dead men can’t speak. So what was the point again? Destroy another strong black historical LEGEND?!?!
“It’s several examples of pedophilia in American History… if y’all pulling up all our old shit… we gotta examine ELVIS PRESLEY, HUGH HEPHNER,and a whole slew of others guilty of the same if not more!!! BUT WHY US all the time? There’s an agenda to destroy OUR CULTURE. #KingsThoughts.”
Jackson died of acute propofol and benzodiazepine intoxication at his Los Angeles home in June 2009 while he was still drowning in child abuse allegations. The HBO documentary — which aired over the weekend — centers around choreographer Wade Robson and James Safechuck who both accuse Jackson of molesting them as children.
Robson originally defended Jackson in court while he was still alive but changed course and attempted to sue the Michael Jackson Estate in 2013. The sex abuse case was ultimately dismissed in 2017.
