Funk Master Flex will be the latest celebrity to join the reality TV Circuit, according to sources. Castrol Syntec, a high-powered synthetic oil company, has selected him to host a new reality TV series called Castrol Syntec Car Wars, slated to air April 1.

The series will showcase four car show enthusiasts in a race to customize their vehicles over the course of six weeks.

Castrol Syntec Car Wars will air on ESPN2 for seven weeks. Each of the four contestants will show off their car customization skills and unique rides after each week, in competition to win the Castrol Syntec “Best in Show” award and a grand prize of $10,000. The grand finale will take place in Atlantic City, NJ, at Funk Master Flex’s Celebrity car and Bike Show.

“I’m pumped about my new show, ‘Car Wars,’ and I’m thrilled to get the fans involved,” Funkmaster Flex told sources. “Also, I’m excited to work with Castrol Syntec and we plan to incorporate that same excitement and energy into the show.”
