Florida judge Joel Lazarus issued a bench warrant for rapper Foxy Brown, Thursday, according to New York City’s CW Morning News. The warrant results from Foxy Brown being a no show I court to answer charges related to her dispute in a beauty supply store (in February).
According to reports, the incident was incited after an employee at Queens Beauty Shop told Foxy Brown, born Inga Marchand, that it was time to leave since the business was closing.
Brown, who was using beauty products in the store’s bathroom refused to leave and allegedly punched and threw hair glue on the employee, and later spat at a man who called 911. She also struggled with the police officer who responded to the call. Brown was charged with battery and resisting arrest.
The rapper was released on $1.500 bail. Brown’s attorney was unavailable for comment.
