HipHopDX Premiere

Compton’s Most Wanted’s Tha Chill is back with another video from his recent 4wit80 album. Titled “Yes,” the visual serves as the third offering from the project and features his fellow Diirty OGz members Kurupt and Weazel Loc.

“We bringing that revamped G-Funk, infused with 2019 low rider shit,” Tha Chill tells HipHopDX. “This is OG West Coast weed music. It comes wit a sample from the oldie’s classic ‘Smiling Faces’ from The Undisputed Truth [1971] for that California classic sound.”

Throughout the nearly five-minute cut, the three veteran rappers kick back at the park with their homies as they swap verses.

“Living my life on the streets/Livin’ my straight G/Keep it gangsta,” Kurupt spits, while Loc spits flames like, “Damn it feels good to be a gangsta/And if you step on my Chucks and disrespect me, I’ma bank ya.”

In a recent interview with DX, Tha Chill promised CMW fans their upcoming album, Gangsta Business, has that “wow factor.”

“These days, it has to be something special about us. We older cats. For the new cats, they gotta be like, ‘What’s so dope about these old dudes?’ It’s dope that Lady of Rage and Bumpy Knuckles straight coming from Compton, you wouldn’t even imagine that. That’s what we up into. That’s why I think this new Gangsta Business from CMW gonna have a lot to offer as well.”
