As the government shutdown enters its 19th day, Donald Trump found it was time to deliver his first scripted Oval Office speech on border control. On Tuesday night (January 8), he insisted a border wall is necessary to protect United States citizens from the perceived threat of illegal aliens.

One of Hip Hop’s most outspoken anti-Trump artists, Snoop Dogg, offered to help the current POTUS build the wall — but with Legos. Shortly after Trump’s speech, the inimitable D-O-G-G took to Instagram with a solution of his own.

“Fuck it,” he wrote alongside a photoshopped Lego box. “I’ll build the wall by myself. go ahead. Donald.”

Snoop has consistently criticized Trump since the 2016 election. Last November, he lit up a blunt in front of the White House while visiting Washington D.C. “Fuck the president,” he said in an Instagram video.

Snoop also caught Trump’s wrath after the release of BADBADNOTGOOD’s “Lavender” video, which featured The Doggfather. The visual portrays a clown version of Trump and Snoop holding a toy gun to his head. Consequently, Trump threatened to throw Snoop behind bars. [apple_news_ad type=”any”]

“Can you imagine what the outcry would be if @SnoopDogg, failing career and all, had aimed and fired the gun at President Obama?” Trump tweeted in March 2017. “Jail time!”

Despite Snoop’s obvious disdain for Trump, Snoop admitted he made the conscious choice not to attack Trump anymore last August.

“You don’t answer to politics with negativity and the same energy that they have, because you’ll never win,” he said in an interview with TV One’s Uncensored. “This is the system that they designed. You can only beat the system by being the anti, and the anti-hate is love, so that’s what we do. Because I hated on the president. I came at him way foul at the beginning.”

“This president, whatever color you are, is very disrespectful to you as a human being. We took a few stands on him. Put a few pieces up, videos and threw a few shots at him. But I felt, that’s going nowhere fast ’cause he loves that.”
