After unceremoniously bowing out hosting the 2019 Oscars after several anti-gay tweets resurfaced, Kevin Hart has a least one famous supporter who’s willing to have his back publicly.
His Uncle Snoop Dogg.
The OG took to his trusty Instagram podium to offer up an explicit public service announcement that truly let the world know how he felt.
“Hey Kev, don’t trip,” the Boss Dogg began while puffing on a gargantuan blunt. “That ain’t our kinda shit anyways,” he quipped, reinforcing the notion that Hart’s comedy should supersede any political correctness.

Snoop also suggested that Hart take on hosting the next BET or Soul Train Awards, because well, “they don’t care.”
This past week has been a whirlwind for the superstar comedian. On Tuesday (December 4), Hart joyously announced that he fulfilled a lifelong dream by getting to host the annual film shindig.
By December 5, that dream had severely deflated after a writer for the Guardian unearthed eight-year-old tweets where Hart made several gay jokes that not only came off as insensitive but also unfunny to many who read them.
On Thursday, (December 6), after dancing around a formal apology, Hart made the decision to step down from his look of a lifetime.

“I have made the choice to step down from hosting this year’s Oscar’s….this is because I do not want to be a distraction on a night that should be celebrated by so many amazing talented artists,” he wrote on Twitter.
“I sincerely apologize to the LGBTQ community for my insensitive words from my past. I’m sorry that I hurt people.. I am evolving and want to continue to do so. My goal is to bring people together not tear us apart. Much love & appreciation to the Academy. I hope we can meet again.”
Of course, none of this fazed Snoop, who finished his PSA with some choice words for not one but two prestigious entertainment hubs.
“Yo Kev, smoke a blunt,” Snoop continued. “Tell The Academy to suck a dick or die tryin’,” he exclaimed before closing with “fuck the Grammys, too.”
