It looks like Busta Rhymes has more to be upset about than just a disrespectful Instagram comment. According to TMZ, Bus-A-Bus has filed a lawsuit against ex-employee Rasheem “Bubba” Barker for acting as his manager and booking performances without his permission.
In documents obtained by TMZ, Busta accuses Baker of pocketing $60,000 in advances between 2016 and 2018. He also claims Baker kept $8,000 in travel expenses for a trip to Toronto that was intended for the Flipmode Squad OG.
Consequently, Busta says someone was awarded a default judgment against him for $22,478 after he didn’t show up to a show booked by Barker. He’s suing for more than $500,000.
Busta addressed the situation on Instagram earlier this week.
