Yella Beezy is out of the hospital but still recovering from injuries sustained in a drive-by shooting. The rising star’s publicist revealed he was released on Wednesday (October 24), according to the Dallas Morning News.

Beezy was shot three times while driving on the Sam Rayburn Tollway in Lewisville, Texas on October 14. Police said more than a dozen shots were fired by his attacker.

Lewisville Police Captain Dan Rochelle said no suspect has emerged in the shooting as of Friday (October 26). Police are still waiting to see if Beezy intends to press charges.

Beezy’s life-threatening experience isn’t slowing down his music career though.

The Billboard-charting rapper has released a remix for his hit single “That’s On Me” featuring Rich The Kid, Boosie Badazz, Trapboy Freddie, 2 Chainz, T.I. and Jeezy. Beezy is also planning to drop an album on November 9.
