Cardi B has responded to Chika’s “Money” freestyle. Not long after Missy Elliott gave the fire emoji sign of approval, Cardi shared Chika’s video with her 34.6 million Instagram followers. In the caption, the “Bodak Yellow” phenom described Chika in a the most Cardi way possible.
“@oranicuhh is really a fuckin beast,” she tweeted on Saturday (October 27). “she murk the MONEY beat!”
Chika, who recently appeared at the BET Hip Hop Awards, is currently plotting her next move. On Saturday afternoon, the Alabama-bred MC revealed a new single was on it way.
“got the final mix of my debut single. kinda screaming cuz i love it,” she tweeted. “i know i said this month, BUT we shooting a video so it’ll probably be early november.”

When it comes to supporting fellow female MCs, Missy Elliott is clearly ’bout it, ’bout it. On Friday night (October 26), rising star Chika posted a powerful freestyle that yielded the adoration of Missy herself.
“Wheeeeeeeeew,” Missy commented on Chika’s video. She had a series of flame emojis to emphasize her point.

In Chika’s original post, the 21-year-old tagged Cardi B in the caption, a reference to one of her lines in the verse.
“someone hit @iamcardib, tell her i wanna party,” Chika wrote. “money verse.”
Chika has been attracting attention from many pillars of the Hip Hop community. Erykah Badu, who backed her on the 1s and 2s during the BET Hip Hop Awards Cypher earlier this month, has shared the Alabama native’s freestyle videos, while Ice-T, Jada Pinkett-Smith and Funkmaster Flex all raved about her on social media.
Missy is just the latest to recognize Chika’s undeniable talent.
“It feels good to know someone who opened up doors for people like me enjoys what I do,” Chika told HipHopDX. “She’s been very supportive.”
