The late Mac Miller continues to inspire others as seen in Buffalo-based group 14 trapdoors’ new single “Swimming In Circles.” The trio of Short Moscato, Bendyface and Wza have put together a video for the tribute track, which makes it debut on HipHopDX.

“We wrote the song about our own personal demons … on the day it was announced Mac Miller passed,” 14 trapdoors tells DX. “We have related to Mac’s music, lifestyle and humor for years and have idolized his artistry and how he dealt with his own personal demons.

“The song became an exercise in self-reflection and realization for the group and we wanted to dedicate it to Mac because he helped people and artists be okay with having emotions and expressing them through art.”
