Social media is abuzz with speculation that Kanye West is releasing a sequel to his 2013 album Yeezus. ‘Ye sparked the chatter by posting a blank CD reminiscent of the Yeezus cover art on his Twitter and Instagram accounts.
Kanye’s tease follows the announcement he’ll musical guest for the upcoming season premiere of Saturday Night Live. ‘Ye is scheduled to appear on the show’s September 29 episode and has centered album releases around SNL performances in the past, as seen during the rollout for 2016’s The Life Of Pablo.
Despite the lack of any confirmation, fans are already getting excited about a potential Yeezus 2. If the assumptions are correct, it would be Kanye’s second sequel in the works.
