It looks like Drake is still harboring some resentment over Pusha T’s scathing diss track “The Story Of Adidon.” But, instead of taking another shot at the G.O.O.D. Music president, he went at his boss — Mr. Kanye West.

During the Chicago stop of the Aubrey & The Three Amigos Tour on Saturday (August 18), Drake swapped a line in “Know Yourself” to say “Then Kanye flopped” instead of “Then Kanye dropped.”

Drake is likely referencing West’s latest solo album, ye, which was released in June. Although it debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart and sold over 85,000 total album equivalent units in its first week, it yielded a lukewarm response from fans and critics alike.

On the other hand, Drake’s Scorpion — which dropped June 29 and also debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 — sold roughly 732,000 total album equivalent units in its first week. It not only went platinum on the day of its release, but it also remained in the the No. 1 spot for five consecutive weeks.

In addition, it broke numerous streaming records, including Apple Music’s single-day record, which Drake had previously set with 2017’s More Life.

For now, it looks like the ball is in ‘Ye’s court — if he even wants to play.
