Sunday 12/10:  Nike has officially kicked off their Air Force One 25-year Anniversary celebration. As hiphopdx originally reported, Nike had a kick off party where Rakim, Kanye West, and Nas performed. The history and connection between kicks and hip-hop, especially Air Force Ones, is deep. Plus, Nike has some fire coming out in ’07.

Monday 12/11:  Jay-Z has joined a long list of rappers being sued. A federal judge has granted a motion to add Rocawear owners Roc-Apparel Group LLC, Urban Menswear LLC and Rocawear Licensing LLC to a trademark and copyright infringement suit filed by professional wrestler, Diamond Dallas Page. Diamond Dallas claims the diamond hand gesture as his own trademark, stating that it was illegally adopted by Jay-Z, and misappropriated. Now, I don’t know about you guys, but I thought that was the Delta Sigma Theta symbol. Weren’t they founded in 1913? Yeah, that’s what I thought.

Tuesday 12/12: Foxy Brown may be facing time in jail for a probation violation. What else is new?

Wednesday 12/13:  Lupe Fiasco is possibly trying to get Pink Floyd for his next album. That should be interesting (in a good way).

Thursday 12/14: The leak of Nas’ Hip-Hop is Dead, has been spreading. I’m not sure when it started, but I got it today and I like it a lot. Personally, I think it’s a classic. Nas is taking a lot of heat for the title but he has valid points that he definitely backs up in the album.

Friday 12/15:  Former Universal/Motown rapper, Trick Trick has announced that he is on the verge of signing to G-Unit. The rapper is originally from Detroit, and says plans will be solidified in early 2007.

Saturday 12/16:  D-12’s Proof will be releasing a post-mortem album in 2007.
