Drake Actually Did Co-Write Kanye West’s “Yikes”

Hot 97’s Peter Rosenberg claimed Drake penned the hook for Kanye West’s new track “Yikes” during a recent episode of Ebro In The Morning. It turns out Aubrey Graham (Drake’s real name) actually did contribute to the ye cut.

According to TIDAL, Drake, super producer Mike Dean and West are among the many contributors listed as “composer” on the song.

West was credited as a contributor on Drake’s 2016 diss track, “Two Birds, One Stone,” which was aimed at Pusha T and Kid Cudi. Pusha didn’t reply to the 6 God’s barbs until last month, when he released “Infrared,” which took shots at both Drake and Cash Money CEO Bryan “Birdman” Williams.

Drake retaliated with the scathing “Duppy’s Freestyle” and Pusha fired back with another fiery diss, “The Story Of Adidon.”

West tried to dead the beef on Twitter and it’s seemingly cooled off for now.

West’s follow-up to 2016’s The Life Of Pablo, ye, was released on June 1 following a listening party in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

    1. Drake actually had his ghostwriters write on the track and he charged 5× more because they thought it came from him. Dont know why drake dissed kanye on duppy. I feel like drake has no ammo for pusha and he directed his shots to kanye cause he is a simple target. Drake mad cause pusha embarrassed him on infared and destroyed him on the story of addidon:0)

      1. That’s how many big name producers work too. They have a sweatshop of beat makers then ad a tweak and call it their beat to sell for inflated prices. In Drake’s head he wrote the hook because he chose that one amongst the applicants.

    2. drake is a little bitch who doesnt write his own rhymes, didnt start from the bottom, and appeals to little girls. dude is joke

    3. “Father had to stretch his hands out and get it from me
I pop style for 30 hours then let him repeat”
      This right here legendary.

    4. Does drake know that kanye doesnt have beef with him? Drake doing everything he can to avoid king push! Drake catching L’s left and right.

    5. Drake writing rhymes for Pusha T’s boss but he talking about Quentin lol. This is why you real hiphop look stupid

    6. Big fucking deal shit sounds just like Wolves. Drake copied an old Kanye hook and people are acting like he made the song knock…hook was my least favorite part cause it sounded too much like a retread

      1. Lol when Drake gets hooks the ghostwriting accusations start. Let’s just call a double standard for what it is.

Talk to Rhymefest about writing whole Kanye West songs of Kanye taking popular songs on the Underground and co opting them for his own work ( Panda, shit I don’t like).

    7. diss records with people from your camp as a contributor on it. All right. But this is exciting though to suckas or something.

    8. Push insulting Drake Daddy, Drake writing for Push Daddy, the reason one’s relevant the other isn’t.

    9. Yeah but what does this have to do with pusha and drake? He wrote a kanye hook but where is drakes response to pusha t classic diss track? Drug dealing aside, ghost writing aside, lets have a heart to heart about your pride. Drake………..we dont care. This is between you and pusha t. We have not forgotten the story of addidon. He dissed your mom, dad, best friend and exposed you for being a bad father just like your own father:/. Dont let this distract you from the fact drake in black face and still hasnt responded to puuuuuuush:0)

      1. That was a classic diss track? Shit isn’t repayable. Comments section filled with fork lift operators.

    10. Need Heat for your next project? dukewonbeats.com got fire beats on deck. Plus free beat downloads no tags! And package deals available!

    11. You mean Drake’s ghostwriter’s actually wrote it. Give it up already hhdx, we know Aubrey is a manufactured star. So much so, that his team doesn’t allow him to do interviews.

    12. The beef is deaded, because Pusha bodied Aubrey and further exposed how much of a fake Aubrey is.

    13. The comments section filled with a bunch of 7L and Escoteric fans. There’s so many interviews of artists talking about being in the studio with Drake as he helps them put together a song…lol you guys are some flat earthers lol
