Veteran MC Blueprint is back with another visual from his latest album, Two-Headed Monster. Titled “Don’t Look Back,” the video is set at the Mug and Brush Barber Shop in his hometown of Columbus, Ohio where the Rhymesayers affiliate is simply trying to get his haircut.
As he waits in a chair, he dozes off and wakes up 40 minutes later to find he still has to wait.
The jazz-infused beat, which was produced by Blueprint, is the ideal backdrop for his crisp, straight-forward rhymes. With lines like, “Every day is another chance to get it right,” the song carries an air of positivity and nothing but good vibes.
Two-Headed Monster was released on Tuesday (May 22) via Weightless Recordings and features guest spots from Slug of Atmosphere, Aceyalone, Mr. Lif, Wordsworth and Supastition.
