Allegations of R. Kelly’s sexual abuse continue to surface. TMZ reports a woman is suing the controversial singer for sexual battery, false imprisonment and failure to disclose an STD.
Faith Rodgers, the alleged victim, says she dated Kelly for about one year after meeting him when she was 19 at a San Antonio concert. Following their initial meeting, Rodgers claims Kelly flew her to New York for a show. After the event, he reportedly “bombarded” her hotel room and engaged in “abusive sex” that involved oral and vaginal intercourse.
Now that the relationship has ended, Rodgers went into vivid detail about the alleged verbal and sexual abuse she suffered. She was allegedly locked in rooms, studios and cars for failing to sexually satisfy him. The lawsuit states that Kelly had a female assistant watching to make sure she never escaped.
Kelly was accused of knowingly infecting another woman with herpes in April. Over the past year, more and more allegations of Kelly’s sexual misconduct have been reported. He’s been accused of running a “sex cult” that holds women against their will and grooming a teenager to be his sex “pet.”
