J Dilla’s legacy continues as the iconic and influential producer will have some of his works made available in early 2007. The late producer’s work, Ruff Draft, will be re-released on March 6, through Stones Throw Records.

The album was originally released in 2003 on Dilla’s Mummy Records, and originally limited to vinyl. Ruff Draft is a ten-track, self-produced EP that will also include four previously unreleased songs that were intended for the original record, but did not fit.

The album was completed around the same time Dilla was working with Madlib, creating Champion Sound, under the pseudonym, Jaylib.

J Dilla is one of the founding members of Slum Village and passed away due to complications of lupus last February.
