The Beastie Boys will appear together in concert for the first time in over two years on October 28 in their hometown of New York City. The Beasties have organized a concert called New Yorkers Against Violence, all the proceeds of which will go to victims of the New York terrorist attacks which took place September 11.
The bill will also include Super DJ Stretch Armstrong and the B-52s. The $50
tickets to the show at the Hammerstein Ballroom went on sale October 17. All the money will go to the New York Women’s Foundation and the New York Association for New Americans Inc.
It will be the first Beastie show since the 1999 Tibetan Freedom Concert.
