Months before T.I. appears on the big screen in Ant-Man and the Wasp, it has been revealed that the Atlanta MC has scored yet another acting role.

Deadline reports that T.I. will star in and produce a new music drama titled Glow Up. The rapper will also handle the curation of the soundtrack.

Joining T.I. on the producing end for Glow Up is Robbie Brenner, PepsiCo’s Creators League, Kevin McKeon, and Brian Sher (T.I.’s producing partner). Brenner previously served as producer for Dallas Buyers Club and Burden, which stars Usher, another Atlanta musician.

The script is by Chuck Hayward, who worked on Netflix’s Dear White People as a writer and story editor.

Directed by music video director Justin Francis, Glow Up is about an all-girl high school performance group as they struggle to save their school’s music program by winning a competition.

The group is met with a touch of bad luck when their lead singer is unable to compete and a “charismatic, yet unconventional” replacement comes in.

So far there’s no timeframe on the release of Glow Up, but fans can see T.I. in Ant-Man and the Wasp when it hits theaters in the U.S. on July 6.
