Irv Gotti and 50 Cent engaged in a war of words on Instagram over the weekend. On Sunday (August 21), the two rap moguls exchanged shots at one another about their BET television shows — the Powerexecutive producer is working on the upcoming 50 Central while Gotti already hasTALES, a new Hip Hop anthology series.

“I don’t know maybe it’s just old drug dealer habits […] That Tales bullshit is garbage, good idea badly executed,” 50 wrote in a comment. “It will be gone faster than you can say 50 did it. LOL.”

Gotti grabbed a screenshot and posted it to his own page with the caption, “This whore can’t keep Tales name out his mouth. Lol. I’m not saying anything else. No worries my people. It will be just this one time. I’m back to work. Directing All I Need. Oct 10th. TALES is back on BET! Right after the Hip Hop Awards. My Trap Queens Episode. Hip Hop Cultured TV at its Finest!! It’s a show like no other show.”

In the comments, Gotti also claims he’s “back” and 50 will just have to “deal with” the competition.

“The Fact that this clown is trying so hard for TALES go away. Should let everyone know how dope my shit is,” he wrote. “He’s saying it’s a dope idea but poor execution. HAHAHAH. Fuck outta here bitch!! YOU LOVE MY SHIT!! Oct. 10th. TALES IS BACK ON.”

Judging by 50’s posts, he’s not worried about Gotti. “Keep quiet don’t tell them I’m setting up shop,” he wrote in another Instagram caption. “I don’t come to make friends. When I come, I take over. #50Centralbet.”

50 followed up with, “Most people fall apart under pressure. I deliver repeatedly at a feverish pace. I’m a nightmare for a hater, I make things happen.”

Gotti and 50’s tumultuous relationship has been ongoing for years and stretches back to the beginning of 5o’s career.

Most recently, 50 threatened to slap Gotti after the former Murda Inc. CEO did an interview with The Breakfast Club in June discussing his rivalry with the Get Rich or Die Tryin’ rapper and his intention to resurrect Murda Inc.
