News for vinyl collectors this week is that Dilated Peoples “Worst Comes To Worst” / “Target Practice” is being yanked off the shelves for two reasons. The song “”Target Practice” has an uncleared sample, in order to dodge any future lawsuits (like rawkus), the track is being deleted from the album and this 12″. So all you bootleggers who think they have the album before the release date of the 25th might want to delete the track.

The reason is that the single’s cover has been called “unacceptable” no comments from any of the DP family but, if this has anything to do with Peter Jennings’s mug on the cover, or if this has to do with the events at the World Trade Center, but they are pulling it as well.

The re-release of “Worst Comes To Worst” will most likely include a different b-side and plain jacket.
