Erick Sermon was injured in a car accident on his way home from a video shoot Tuesday night, and is now in stable condition at a New Jersey hospital.
The legendary producer and rapper was on his way home from shooting his video for I’m Hot, directed by Little X, when he collided with another car and hit a wall, said a spokesperson from J Records, Sermon’s current label. He sustained head injuries, as well as a broken leg and broken jaw, but is now in stable condition, recovering at a hospital which the record company did not want to name.
E-Double’s song I’m Hot, samples Marvin Gaye, and will appear on his upcoming album Music,which is due out October 30. He was scheduled to perform with Cypress Hill next weekend in California, but there is no word on whether he will keep that date now.
