Before Tinashe takes fans on a Joyride with her next studio album in the spring of 2017, the Kentucky-born singer has let loose a new project titled Nightride.
The 15-track project, which features the singles “Company” and “Party Favors,” can currently be streamed for free on Spotify and Apple Music.
While speaking with Rolling Stone, Tinashe offered a brief comparison between Nightride and the upcoming Joyride.
“The majority of the album was already there, so it wasn’t like that much changed,” Tinashe said. “I see [Nightride and Joyride] as two things that are equally the same. I think you can be a combination of things, and that’s what makes people human and complex. They are equally me. I don’t like to be limited to one particular thing so I want to represent that duality and that sense of boundlessness in my art.”
The singer also shared some insight into Nightride in a photo uploaded to Instagram yesterday (November 3).
