The battle between Rum Nitty and Ill Will from URL’s “Born Legacy 3” tops BattleRap.com’s list of the best releases from October.

In a bold move, Ill Will, who had been mysteriously absent from the league’s roster for a while after becoming one of its standout newcomers, turned part of his third round into an impromptu press conference where he took questions from the audience about where he’d been and freestyled his responses.

Rum Nitty’s writing was equally innovative, finding unheard ways of bending words to fit his attack on his opponent. This was the Phoenix native’s fourth strong performance for the New York-based league, a run that includes what many are calling the battle of the year against Ave.
Both Will and Nitty will be gearing up again for URL’s next marquee event, NOME6, at New York’s Irving Plaza on November 20. Ill Will takes on Wild ‘N Out castmember Charlie Clips and Rum Nitty faces Tay Roc in a long-anticipated matchup for the unofficial title of “Gun Bar King.” A win there, or even a debatable with the crowd favorite, would likely lock him in as Battler Of The Year on a lot of lists.
Other notable battles featured on BattleRap.com’s list include QP vs. JC in a wildly complex battle filmed inside a cage and edited with special effects, Pnut vs. Shotti P, which gives shine to two of KOTD’s next up-and-comers, and a monster performance from Nu Jerzy Twork, who went up against Dougy.
