50 Cent is the latest rapper to speak out about chat show host Oprah Winfrey, criticising her for not inviting mainstream rappers onto her show.

“I think she caters to older white women,”50 told the Associated Press. “Oprah’s audience is my audience’s parents. So I could care less about Oprah or her show.”

The leader of the G-Unit went on to say how he thought he would gain more street cred from not being associated with Oprah.

“I’m actually better off having friction with her,” he stated.

The sounding off on Oprah follows Ludacris’ recent outburst, after Winfrey agreed to have the star on the show to promote his movie Crash, only to attack him for his music and misogynistic lyrics instead.

In the same interview, 50 Cent spoke about Eminem and his condition after the death of MC Proof.

“He’s coming along. He’s gonna be alright. I mean, it was definitely a big loss for him. Proof was actually his best friend in the world from forever.”

Meanwhile, 50 insisted that violent lyrics in Hip Hop did not play a role in the murder of the D12 member, born DeShaun Holton.

“I think the violence that happened to Proof and the violence that’s happening across America right now has nothing to do with hip hop,” he said.

“It has something to do with the people – the state of them – and the music doesn’t alter that.”

The Aftermath/Shady/G-Unit family all recently attended the wake for Proof, who was shot outside the CC Club in Detroit.
