As they watch their city grieve, New York’s legendary Beatminerz crew is doing something to ease the pain of their fellow New Yorkers. The DJ/Production posse will host a charity night at New York’s Bar 16 on Thursday, September 20. Evil Dee, Mr. Walt and Butta L will be spinning and are asking guests to bring anything they can to donate to victims of last week’s terrorist attacks. They will be accepting money, clothing, food, and just about anything that will help.
The hip-hop community has opened up its heart in the face of this tragedy. Dr. Dre, The Arsonists, FUBU, Snoop Dogg, Swizz Beats, RZA and Fat Joe are all said to have donated heavily to the cause.
