Rapper and actor LL Cool J has landed a major movie role, the lead in a new thriller called Mindhunters.
The film will be directed by big-time director Renny Harlin, who also directed James in 1999’s Deep Blue Sea. Mindhunters is the story of new recruits to the FBI’s psychological division, who are popularly known as mindhunters. The recruits are in training to learn how to catch serial killers, when they discover that there is a killer in their midst. LL plays the lead character Gabe, who is a recruit.
He is also going to be appearing in the upcoming flicks Rollerball and May Bay’s Mama. He will also have a role in a new remake of Dolomite.
