The attack on New York’s World Trade Center forced the cancellation of everything from air traffic to Major League Baseball games to the operation of the major stock exchanges in the U.S.

One other thing that got canceled as a result of the attack was the Latin Grammy Awards. The second annual awards were supposed to have been held Tuesday night in Los Angeles, with scheduled performances by Ricky Martin, Jon Secada and Canada’s own Nelly Furtado. The show had originally been planned for Miami, but was moved to Los Angeles for security concerns. So far, no make-up date is planned, but the winners will presumably still get their awards.

The tragedy also forced the cancellation of the TV Emmy awards, and trimmed the schedule of the Toronto International Film Festival.
