Damon Dash could face criminal charges after allegedly yelling profanities from his car at the founder of America magazine.

The editor and co-chief executive of the publication, Smokey D. Fontaine says that Dash pulled up alongside him in his car as he was walking in New York City last week. Dash then began to shout at Fontaine.

This news comes after allegations that Dash physically assaulted Fontaine in September. Fontaine filed a police report after this alleged incident took place, stating that he was punched in the chest and knocked over a chair.

Dash continues to deny the attack.

“Would I be dumb enough to do something like that? I always think violence is the last means and the last resort. I never advocate violence.”

“People use my demeanor and the fact that I come from the hip hop culture as a way to extort me for money,”Dash also said. “It will never happen. I’ll never pay a dollar for something I didn’t do.”

Fontaine is now looking to press charges against Dash.

The former Roc-A-Fella CEO is still fighting a $15 million rape suit brought against him by former model Kirstie Thompson back in January 2004.

Thompson says that Dash forced himself on her on New Years Day of 2003 on an island near Brazil. She alleges that Dash asked her for sex, which she refused.

After several drinks and half an ecstasy pill, Thompson passed out. When she regained consciousness, she says that Dash was on top of her.

To this day, Dash has denied these rape allegations, and has not been charged with any crime in relation to Thompson’s accusations.
