Ice Cube is set to release a greatest hits compilation, complete with a new song produced by The Neptunes.

The infamous Left Coast rapper and actor will have no trouble filling this album with hits, as he has had an outstanding career to date. He first came into the game with a force that hasn’t since been matched, when his band NWA jumped onto the scene with NWA and the Posse and gangsta rap’s big breakthrough Straight Outta Compton. Eazy E, Dr Dre, MC Ren and DJ Yella went on to make two more albums together, but Cube pursued a solo career. His first album Amerikkka’s Most Wanted was produced by PE’s Bomb Squad and received the legendary five-mic nod from The Source. He followed that effort up with four killer albums before joining WC and Mack 10 to drop a Westside Connection album. While his recent War and Peace albums ahven’t lived up to his previous standard, he has continued to shine.

Cube has also written and starred in two Friday movies and a third is coming soon. He recently told MTV that this greatest hits album may be his last for a while.
