DJ Khaled announced via Instagram today (October 12) that his next album, I Changed A Lot, is scheduled for an October 23 release.

In a lengthy post, the Miami-based artist says that he will be releasing two singles today that will be available with the iTunes pre-order of the album. One song is entitled “You Mine” and features Trey Songz, Future and Jeremih. The second single is “Gold Slugs” and brings together Chris Brown, August Alsina and Fetty Wap.

A year ago, DJ Khaled spoke with HipHopDX about the meaning of his album and how he has changed his life with a healthier lifestyle and smarter decision-making.

“I changed just the way I think,” he said at the time. “I refuse to let somebody pull me down. I’m gong to embrace my blessings. I’m going to celebrate my wins. I’m gonna try and be happy. There’s times that we gotta pat ourselves on the back. We have to create that moment to be happy because, if we wait for somebody to do that we’re gonna be waiting a long time.”

    1. Why is this idiot (who backstabbed cash money in favor of wayne), getting chris brown again? In a decent world, bbrown would have been locked up for a long ass time due to his violent outbursts.

    2. Yo, why this corny ass clown promoting his restaurant on an album cover. That’s “tasteless”. All jokes aside, it’s a low class, low rent marketing move.

I bet his restaurant folds within three years. Does that make me a hater? Nope. Check Yelp – 67 or so reviews with an average 3-3.5 stars. Better step up that food game, son.

Past two recent singles – floppers – best part was Future’s solo at the end of the video for “You Mine.” Fetty Wap sounds dumb as fuck on Gold Slug. Like he walked out the hospital with tubes in his mouth.

    3. “A year ago, DJ Khaled spoke with HipHopDX about the meaning of his album and how he has changed his life with a healthier lifestyle and smarter decision-making.” And then promotes this Finga Licking restaurant on the cover, SMH.

    4. I can do without French Montana and Meek Mill! I don’t understand why he don’t promote his own artist Ace Hood enough. Him on a track should be one of the early releases. I don’t get it. Why Future on every song. He always going with whoever he thinks is current.

      1. Khaled’s parents are from Palestine you uneducated fuck. Khaled was born in New Orleans. He’s American.
